Welcome to Shield Ventilation Systems Ltd, a Tyneside based company offering design, installations and manufacturing expertise in all areas of sheet metal ductwork and ventilation systems across the UK. From our formation in 1982, we have grown from strength to strength, and with our 30 years’ experience and management by 3 generations of the Shield family, we have completed projects in excess of £1million.
We are a unique run business employing many staff aswell as apprentices. All employees hold IPAF cards, CSCS cards, Asbestos certificates and Pasma cards. Shield Ventilation believe it is of extreme importance that all staff are fully aware of Health and Safety and any issues that can occur whilst on site or within our premises.
We have formed long lasting relationships with many of our clients and this brings positivity and good reputation to us as a business and allows repetitive success between one another. Our high quality service and attention to detail is second to none. All manufacturing and installations are completed with a ‘can do’ attitude to exceptional standards, allowing further business development with our current customers as well as gaining opportunities to build up relationships with new customers.
Our products are manufactured and designed in house using the latest technology equipment (plasma and laser cutting machines) which is available to this production, enabling our customers to receive products on a quick, efficient timescale. We also have the ability to provide automated reports that eliminate the need for time consuming manual take-offs. This enables us to provide a fast turnaround on project estimates and manufacture bill of materials.
The company has developed and thrived by keeping to our fundamental family principles of serving all customers with hard work, honesty and value for money using our ‘can do’ attitude. Mr Shield strongly believes in good old business values where people would shake hands on a deal and this would be the basis of the contract based solely on mutual trust.
